At home
For the last two days I’ve been home with Freja. She has a terrible cough. It’s actually the first time she is sick since we came back to Sweden. I thought she would get sick a lot when she started kindergarten but she has been alright.
Now all of us are sick. Fredrik is getting better now and I’m not sick enough to stay home from work but I very happy to stay home with Freja and get some extra rest. : )
Creativity
This is what Fredrik and Freja created on their first day together, golden chestnuts and acorns. I love them. : )

Autumn
The weather is getting colder. When I ride my bike to work in the mornings I need to put my gloves on.
It’s windy, yellow leafs are blowing of the trees and lying on the ground.
When the sun is shining I feel like going in to the forest to collect mushrooms.
When it’s raining I feel like staying inside to drink tea and watch a movie.
In other word it’s autumn.
Svenne?
This weekend I did everything that the average Swedish person does. Saturday I went to the recycling centre, shopped for food, watched a movie and ate to much candy. Today I cleaned the apartment, went to IKEA, bought paint at Bauhaus (a big market that sells wood, paint and other things you need to renovate). Then I let Freja watch another movie so I could use my newly bought stuff to make the apartment look nicer. : )
I felt like a real “svenne”. It’s a Swedish word that we use to say that someone is very ordinary. I usually don’t do “svenne” stuff so it felt very strange to do everything at once. It was also very crowded, almost felt like I was in Korea again. : )
But I really needed do all of those things and now we have more order in our apartment. Luckily for Freja and Fredrik I did most of the things by my self and they got to do more fun things. Next weekend I hope to do more fun things with my family instead of running around being a ”svenne”. : )
Lovely Friday
Freja has been in such a good mood today and that transferred over to me. At breakfast we started joking and laughing. And before we went out she said “love you”. Then I knew this would be a very good day. : )
On the way to kindergarten we saw a garbage truck and that made Freja even happier. I went to work with a smile on my face. : )
We ended this lovely Friday with coffee, ice cream and popcorn at my parents home. Now I have two days of to spend with my family. We have many things to do but I look forward to spending a lot of time together.
Findings from the attic
I wanted a new plate rack but before I bought one I found one in the attic, apparently I wanted one before. : )
We also found some very nice things for Freja in my parents in law’s attic. The rocking chair is one of them. She loves it. : )
Complete chaos
Our life has been a bit chaotic since we came back to Sweden. We had a lot of things to do, I started working after one week and we wanted to spend a lot of time whit our friends and family. In other words: not a lot of rest. I almost didn’t have time to eat and keep the apartment clean but it’s a lot of fun. : )
This Friday our furniture arrived and it made our apartment look like a bomb went of, things everywhere. For a while we didn’t know what to do whit all our stuff. We even considered throwing everything away; we made it thru 2 moths without it. How important can it be? ; )
We have spent this weekend cleaning, cleaning and cleaning some more. Finally we have a functional apartment. Our only problem is that we have too much furniture. We have a lot of storage space but still we can’t put everything away so we will try to sell as much as possible.
Tomorrow is my first real day at work, school starts and all the children are back. It’s also Frejas first real day at kindergarten. She went to visit the kindergarten a couple of times last week and she loved it, she cried when it was time to go home so a think she will have a lot of fun. : )
Monday = Visiting the zoo
Sunday = Washing the car
Saturday = Birthdayparty
Back in Sweden
We finally have an internet connection!
The plane flight went very well, Freja was a total angel. After two weeks in Sweden we are starting get our lives together. Most of the paperwork is in order and we have new sell phones and a new car. I started working this week.
We have spent as much time as possible with our friends and family. It’s so nice to be home, meet all our loved ones and eat a lot of Swedish food. But we miss Korea.
Now that we have an internet connection I will start to update this blog a few times every week. Hope you will enjoy it. : )
