Homemade

In Sweden we light a candle every Sunday until Christmas, starting 4 weeks before. It´s called advent.

People usually have a special candleholder but I make a different one every year. This one I made with the help of one of my colleague.

Change of plans

We were suppose to go to a christening this Sunday but Freja fell ill and we had to stay home. :  (

Anyway, here is the card I made for the little boy.

Christmas market

Today me, Freja, my parents, aunt and cousin went to a traditional Christmas market. Freja got to meet some farm animals, eat a lot of candy, see a fire show and get a lollipop from Santa. She was in heaven. : )

A went a lot of times before but despite the bad rainy whether this was the best time jet, because I had Freja and she thought everything was really fun. : )

Freja still remembers

Freja watched some all pictures today. She got really happy and just wanted to se more and more. Yoon Jin! I love Yoon Jin!

This is one of my favourite pictures from Korea.

The world is gray

This is a colour picture…without colours…

November is the worst time of the year. All the colourful leaves have fallen to the ground, it’s cold and rainy. I really hope the snow will come soon.

Not feeling to good right now

I have a cold this week. I got just enough strength to work and take care of Freja. Other than that I focus on resting. You won’t be hearing from me for a couple of days but I’ll be back when I feel better.

TGIF

Another work week has ended. I haven’t told you anything about our week but it was ok, just an average week. I just whished the days had 26 hours. Then maybe I would have more time to tell you about the things I do. : )

My goal this weekend is to get a lot of things done around the apartment and also get some rest. Next week is a very busy week at work and I really need my strength.

That’s about it. Now it’s time to go to bed and get that rest. : )

Happy Fathers day

First snow

Today the first snow fell over my hometown. It did not stay on the ground but it means winter is truly here. Hopefully we will have a white Christmas.

By the way… I started preparing Christmas the 1st of November and I have already shopped most of the Christmas gifts for this year…yes I’m a bit crazy. ; )

Halloween fika

Fika is a Swedish word that means having a cup of coffee and something to eat.

Our Halloween

This Friday me and Fredrik left Freja at her grandparents and went to a Halloween party. Really nice. : )

In Sweden we don’t traditionally celebrate Halloween. We have “all saints day” were we light candles on the graveyards but we don’t dress up and go “trick or treating”.

But the last few years it’s getting more and more popular to dress up and have a party and some kids even go “trick or treating”. However the event is not as big as in the US. : )
