Förutom att jag intensivskrev på min C-uppsats, skötte hushållet, djuren och allt som hör till, så fick vi för oss att ta tag i renoveringen av Frejas rum förra veckan. Vi hade allt materialet hemma så när inspirationen satte in var det bara att kör igång. : )

Det blev väldigt fint och när vi fått upp gardiner och tavlor så ska jag visa före och efter bilder. Helgen var härlig men intensiv. Storstädning, grillning, vänner, betessläpp, dansuppvisning och kalas. Ni kanske kan förstå att det inte blev så mycket tid över att blogga. Denna vecka ska jag i alla fall försöka ta igen det för det händer ju så mycket skoj här hemma. : )

Igår åkte Fredrik, Freja och Shishi till badstranden för att se om Shishi ville bada. Det visade sig dock att han var en badkruka så istället var det Freja som stod för årets första dopp. Brrrr! ; )

Påsken har varit solig och helt underbar. Förutom att vi har umgåtts med vänner och familj, ätit massa god mat och alldeles för mycket godis har vi fått en hel del gjort här hemma.

• Alla kaniner är hämtade.
• Uteburarna är färdiga och kaninerna bor ute på gräsmattan.
• Trädgårdslandet är förberett för odlande.
• Soldäcket är påbörjat.
• Vi har städat och rensat i trädgården så att en majbrasa finns redo för valborgsfirandet.

Dessutom håller våra första kycklingar på att kläckas! : D


Först ut på gräsmattan var vår första kanin Mimmi.

Eftersom vi jobbar på att skaffa fler djur, odla mycket och producera vår egen mat kommer detta att få mer plats på bloggen. Det händer mycket i trädgården, hönsgården och i stallet just nu så det finns massor att berätta. Planerna för vad som ska hända denna sommar är i full gång och jag kommer att presentera dem i ett egen inlägg.

 

I've been doing some thinking and will in the near future make some changes in the blog. The first change is that I will start to write in Swedish. It seems that the majority of people reading this blog are Swedes so it feels natural. I will however keep the translation button for those of you who want it.
I will soon reveal the other changes. : )

 

Jag har funderat lite och kommer under den närmaste tiden att genomföra några ändringar här på bloggen. Den första förändringen blir att jag går över till att skriva på svenska. Det verkar som att de flesta av de som läser här är svenskar så det känns naturligt. Jag kommer dock att behålla översättnings knappen för de som vill.

Kommer snart att avslöja vilka fler förändringar det blir. : )

 

 

Thanks to sunshine, melting snow, a lot of time with friends and some inspiration for my studies my energy is back and I will continue to tell our story. I even have some changes planed for the blog…

In Sweden a lot of families cuddle up in the sofa Friday evening. We call it “fredagsmys”, cosy Friday. Today Freja and I got some takeaway from McDonald’s and watched a movie together, it was very cosy. : )

 

 

Freja has been sick a lot lately. This time she was sick for over a week went back to kindergarten fell sick again after only four days and had to stay home for another week. That meant we had to cancel all the birthday parties we had planed. And it also meant she was sick on her birthday.

Luckily Freja was just as happy as she usually is. : D

 

 

 

 

 

In the beginning of this week the weather turned warmer… which meant that the snow started to melt… which meant that the road got very icy… which meant that we couldn’t leave the house by car for 2 days…

 

Luckily we had a lot of wallpaper to put up, a very happy and cooperative daughter and last but not least some skates. : D

 

It started as a little break, but almost ended in a shut down.

 

Finally I feel like I have the energy for updates again. Hope you missed me and are happy that I’m back. : )

 

Things have changed in our lives. Fredrik has a new job, Freja goes to a new kindergarten and I have gone back to school to further educate myself.

 

We still love our house and life in the countryside. : )

 

 

Right now I’m busy fixing things around the house and spending time with family and friends. Not much time left to blog.

 

When the summer is over and the weather gets cold and wet I will be back and show you all the things we have done around the house and all the other fun we had this summer. : )

The weather is very nice right now and we spent all our days fixing things in the garden and around the house. We still have some boxes to unpack, we have been saving them for a rainy day but the rainy day hasn’t come yet. : )

 

 

I’m so spoiled. First I get a lot of really nice gifts for my birthday and then a few days later another package arrives. They were delayed in the mail but I got the mbt shoes I really wanted and a really sweet note from the person who packed them. : D

 

Although I stayed home from work with Freja because she has the chickenpox I’ve been really bad at updating my blog. Sorry!
Today Freja took matters into her own hands when she demanded that I took a picture of her when she was having dinner at my parents’ home. Thank you Freja! : )
